SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The SU Men's Basketball team debuted their grey "Hyper Elite Platinum Performance" uniforms against South Florida Wednesday night.

The uniforms caused a rift among the Orange faithful when they were first revealed a couple of weeks ago.

They feature new titling and a prominent grey color scheme, which caused a division between fans who favor the traditional orange, white, and blue combination.

At first, the grey jerseys and shorts didn't seem to bring much luck, as the Orange were down 18 to 7 early in the first half, but they eventually found their stroke and came back to win the game 56 to 48.

SU has not yet decided if they will wear the uniforms again.
