Vandals cause damage to Chesapeake tank

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA. -- An act of vandalism causes hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to Chesapeake Energy's Fresh Water Impound Area in Athens.

Pennsylvania State police said sometime between March 9th to 11th, someone slashed several holes in the polyethylene liner of an empty fresh water holding tank.

The vandalism caused an estimated $300,000 in damage. State Police said they have no suspects at this time and continue to investigate the crime.
