DeWitt Police Department Captain James Hildmann released the following statement this morning, "We are continuing our methodical search of the scene with the hopes of locating any evidence that may assist us in the investigation. We have done so since the inception of the case on 3/17/12 at 2:30 pm. In addition, our investigators continue to work with anthropologists at the Medical Examiner’s Office to help identify the remains and/or the cause and possible manner of death. "
