ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Crews had to clean up the scene after a tanker crashed in Onondaga County. It happened at Connors Road and East Sorrell Hill Road in Van Buren just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The tanker truck was carrying about 50,000 pounds of milk, but aside from a slow leak, there was no major spill.
Fire officials said the accident was likely caused by mechanical failure, but the exact cause is still under investigation. The driver was checked out by ambulance crews at the scene and released.
