ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than 500 women took part in a day of laughter, worship and relaxation Saturday, as part of the 2nd annual 'Day of Joy for Women.'

The conference brought speakers and vendors to 'The Church of the Resurrection' in East Syracuse. Organizers said it is a faith based celebration, but their message is not just for Christians.

Aubry Panek, Conference Director said, “Our message today is about relieving stress. Which everyone can relate to whether you're a Christian or not. And we just hope we bring some positive energy to the women of Syracuse."

Twenty-two vendors showed up to this year's women's conference. They topped last year's attendance.
