WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- A fast-moving fire destroys the upstairs of a six-apartment house in the City of Watertown. Firefighters from Fort Drum and Watertown were called to the fire just after 9 Saturday night on Winslow Street.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in a second-floor apartment in the back. They say the flames were contained at about 11 p.m. At the same time, smoke from this fire was entering Samaritan Medical Center, so someone there pulled the fire alarm and Watertown Fire units responded.

A firefighter was taken to the hospital for a knee injury.

It's unknown how many people were displaced by this fire, and the cause remains under investigation.
