ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Fire officials have determined the cause of Monday night’s fire at the Town Square Apartments in Baldwinsville was cigarettes.
Eight families were displaced after the fire, which broke out around 11 p.m. Monday at the Town Square Apartments on Oswego Street. Flames were burning through the roof when firefighters arrived. Officials believe it started in the attic.
No residents or fire fighters were harmed.
