BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- A second person was arrested and charged in connection with a January burglary at the Salvation Army in Endicott. Trent Barnett, 21, of Endicott was arrested March 8th. On Friday, Steven Sanders, 21, of Binghamton was arrested.
Investigators said they used DNA evidence left at the scene of the burglary to connect Sanders to the crime. Police said the pair broke windows to get into the Salvation Army and stole items inside.
