HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A robbery at First Source Federal Credit Union in Herkimer may be linked to a string of other bank robberies around the state. Monday, two men walked into the credit union on State Street and handed the teller a note demanding money. They didn't show a weapon, but did get away with some cash.

Police released surveillance photos of the two suspects. They believe at least one of the men may have been involved in other bank robberies.

Police also released a different photo from a robbery about a hundred miles away at the Bank of Greene County in the Town of Greenport. The suspect is wearing the same red Yankees hat and glasses as in the other crime.

The two robberies happened about four hours apart.
