SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The father of a slain Syracuse toddler has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting.
Rashaad Walker Senior, 20, is accused of firing shots out of the passenger side window of a vehicle on South Salina Street back on March 20th. Charles Scott, 22, was injured in that incident. he was shot in the neck, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Walker's 20-month old son was killed in a gang-related shooting in November of 2010. According to police, Walker is a known member of the one-ten gang.
He was arraigned on charges of second degree assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon and is now being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $100,000 bail.
