According to police reports, investigators say not only did Bobbie Kugler start the fire that eventually killed her four children in that Grape Street home, she also admitted to them that she did it.
Bobbie Kugler, 31, is charged with arson and four counts of manslaughter- one for each of her children who died in the fire.
That fire was back on February 18th around one in the morning. Investigators say Kugler lit pictures of her boyfriend on fire, then threw those pictures on dresser filled with combustible materials.
Fire Chief John Caufield said Friday, the fire started in a first floor bedroom. At the time of the fire, the chief had also said the fire was so intense and burned so quickly, they could not get into the home to rescue the children trapped inside.
Gage Reavey, 14, Greg Kugler, 13, Kandee Kugler, 12 and six-year-old Kaiden Kugler were all killed in that fire.
James Austin, 25, a family friend and Waltquaries Evans, 15 and Giovanni Delorm, 13 who were sleeping over, were also injured escaping the fire.
Investigators have charged Kugler with manslaughter, saying she recklessly caused the deaths of her children and recklessly damaged an occupied building, by intentionally starting a fire.
Court paperwork says Kugler gave a police a statement, admitting that she started the fire.
Bobbie Kugler was arraigned this past weekend and pleaded not guilty.
We expect to learn more details of course as this court case continues.
Kugler is being held on $300,000 bail. She's due back in court Wednesday.
