MANLIUS, N.Y. -- Fire and rescue crews had to use the jaws of life to free the driver of a vehicle that rolled over in Manlius Monday evening.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Fayette Street and Stickley Drive.

Officials say Richard Flynn, 72, of Manlius, was driving a pickup truck northbound and made a left turn in front of Ashley Havrilla, 27, of Hamilton. Havrilla hit the truck from the side, causing it to flip.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital as a precaution, but are expected to be okay.

No tickets have been issued.
