ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Turning Stone Resort and Casino is back at full capacity after a three-year renovation to 268 rooms.

The hotel spent $5.5 million completely gutting and rebuilding the rooms with products from local businesses. The Turning Stone hired businesses like Carpets Wholesale of Liverpool, Roma Tile and Marble of Syracuse and JAY-K Lumber of New Hartford to provide materials for the renovation.

The Turning Stone said the guest rooms hadn't been renovated since 1997 and needed an updated look.

Roxanne Lucenti, Director of Hotel Operations said, “There's just a lot of small touches that guest will feel comfortable and at home with. From the ottoman chair in the bedroom area to the views that a lot of the rooms accentuate."

Some other things guests can look forward to are safes in all of the rooms, high-speed internet, wifi and 32-inch flat-screen TVs. Turning Stone worked on one floor at time until the project was completed.
