SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After splitting the first two games at home, the Syracuse Crunch are looking to win two out of three at St. John's this week to advance into round two of the AHL Playoffs.
The team bussed to Montreal Monday afternoon before boarding a plane for Newfoundland on an 1800-mile journey for game three of its first-round series with the IceCaps Wednesday night.
The Crunch split two games in Newfoundland earlier this season.
Game four is scheduled for Friday night and game five, if necessary, is to be played on Saturday.
