SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Ohio woman faces several charges following a chase in Central New York. Police said it started in Seneca Falls around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when officers stopped Erin Christ, 33, for speeding.
Officers said Christ refused to give the officer her driver’s license and sped away down State Route 5. She continued speeding until she stopped at a roadblock near the Finger Lakes Mall in Cayuga County, where she was taken into custody.
Christ now faces 11 counts include unlawfully fleeing of a police officer, reckless driving, and speeding. She was sent to the Seneca County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
