OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A fire in Schroeppel gutted a mobile home on County Route 54.

Crews arrived on scene around noon Saturday, but were unable to enter the home because the flames were so intense. Two propane tanks also caught fire, causing some concern, but firefighters said they were waiting for the tanks to burn themselves out.

The family that lived here did make it out safely, but lost everything that was inside.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
