SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A jury trial is underway for a Syracuse man accused of killing two people and injuring another while on drugs.

Police said back on August 6th, Martinous Hudson and three other people were driving around, smoking Marijuana and a drug called "Water" when Hudson began ranting about the devil. He allegedly shot the three other people in the car, killing two of them, then ran off and stole a car at gunpoint.

Hudson pleaded not guilty last September to charges of second degree murder, attempted murder, robbery and criminal weapon possession.

Tuesday afternoon, the prosecution called five witnesses, including two people who called 911 and the first police officers to arrive on scene.

They say the trial should last until mid-next week. They will be back in Court Wednesday at 9 a.m.
