CORTLAND, NY-- The Cortland baseball team wasted no time putting runs on the board and Plattsburgh in their rear view mirror in the first game of the SUNYAC baseball tournament. The Red Dragons scored twice in the first inning and went on to win 8-2.

Cortland scored twice in the second to take a 4-0 lead. Then in the bottom of the third the Dragons added 2 more runs with some help from a Bryan Mistretta RBI hit that put Cortland up 6-0.
