Training Camp Blog: Bills 1st Walk-Through
PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Bills wideout Stevie Johnson could barely contain his excitement.

The Bills opened training camp Thursday with their first morning walk-through session.

Johnson acted like a kid on Christmas morning when asked about the first full practice to come later in the afternoon.

"Just for the simple fact that I want to get back in the swing of things. Get back used to running routes consistently. Catching and being around the guys," Johnson said. "And having the fans out here it is going to be exciting. I am going to try to stay even-keeled. But it is tough. I have to do something."

For quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, the feeling is similar as the Bills open camp with a buzz around the team and its potential this season.

"It is good to be back just to get everything started," Fitzpatrick said. "I love training camp. I love getting away. Being able to kind of put normal life aside for a little bit and getting here being able to focus one-hundred percent on football.

"I think this team is ready. I think we are excited to get going, to improve and to progress as the season nears. There is a lot of excitement here."

Many eyes throughout training camp will be on defensive end Mario Williams. The Bills signed him to a massive contract in the offseason, and he'll be expected to produce pressure on opposing quarterbacks in large quantities.

The Bills first full practice begins at 3 p.m. at Growney Stadium.
