TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- People were heeding the warnings of the advancing storm in Tompkins County.

Not many people were on the roads in the City of Ithaca. Snow was really coming down Wednesday evening. It didn't take long for roads to become snow covered and slippery.
