POTSDAM, N.Y. -- A driver was killed in a head-on crash in Potsdam Monday afternoon.

Police say the accident happened around 1:15 on Route 11, near Regan Road.

Investigators say 63-year-old Anna Manning of Parishville drifted into the oncoming lane and struck a van head on. driven by Lawrence Wagstaff, Jr., head-on.

The 66-year-old Lawrence Wagstaff, Jr., from Winthrop, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Lawrence County Coroner. Manning was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Manning has been ticketed for failing to keep right. Police say the investigation is still under investigation.
