ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Police have made a second arrest in a burglary that took place last month at an Elmira convenience store. The burglary happened on December 10th at the Western Convenience Mart on Walnut and West Third streets. Police say the suspects broke into the glass doors to the store and stole numerous cigarettes.
Police arrested Rodney White, 44, of Elmira on Wednesday. He is charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
Last month, police arrested Donald Smith, 40, and charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and petit larceny.
