NORTHEAST -- Will tomorrow's commute be similar to last Friday's, when lake effect caused treacherous driving conditions from Pennsylvania to the North Country?
As it stands, YNN meteorologists are predicting most of the heavy snow coming our way will fall later tomorrow afternoon and evening. As little as three inches of snow is predicted south of the Finger Lakes, and as much as a foot or more in Northern New York.
Further to our east, some experts say the storm could rival the blizzard of '78, which hit New England 35 years ago today. That storm came as a surprise though, as a prediction of six inches turned into 25 for Boston.
For this storm, the National Weather Service is predicting a foot to two feet of snow for much of New England. New York City could even see significant snowfall as well.
