ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Rome nurse is facing up to four years in prison after authorities say she stole prescription drugs from patients and used them while working.
Erin Marra, 30, was employed at three Rome-area nursing homes. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says Marra was able to cover her tracks by altering records. He says while there were no reports of residents being harmed, the discrepancy could have resulted in physical suffering and incorrect diagnosis.
Marra's charges range from criminal possession of a controlled substance to petit larceny.
