SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police say the victim of a crash on Erie Boulevard East has died, possibly as a result of a medical condition.

Investigators say Theodore Gregory, 53, crashed his car into a bridge's concrete pillar around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Gregory was unconscious when medical crews arrived at the scene. He was brought to Upstate Medical University, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation. The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's office will determine a cause of death.
